Elizabeth Aitcheson

Founder, Clinical Director & Educator

Elizabeth founded Valour with a vision to redefine how rehabilitation, movement, and healthcare are delivered.

Drawing on extensive experience across specialist rehabilitation services, acute healthcare, elite sport, education, and clinical leadership, she has built a reputation for combining clinical excellence with an unwavering commitment to helping people achieve more than they believed possible.

Her work centres around a simple but powerful belief: movement is one of the most effective tools we have for improving health, restoring confidence, and enhancing quality of life. Whether supporting an individual recovering from injury, managing a neurological condition, improving pelvic health, maintaining independence later in life, or striving for higher physical performance, Elizabeth's focus remains the same; creating meaningful outcomes that last.

As a Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates Educator, and healthcare entrepreneur, she continues to lead innovation within the profession. Through the Valour Education Academy, Elizabeth is helping shape the next generation of movement professionals through comprehensive Mat and Reformer Pilates education, with a vision to establish one of the UK's leading physiotherapy-led Pilates training pathways.

Her leadership has transformed Valour into more than a clinic or studio. It is a community built on courage, expertise, and the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to move well, live fully, and thrive.
